Luis Rojas is a research fellow at MOVE, adjunct professor at UAB, and affiliated professor of the Barcelona GSE. 

His main research area is Macroeconomics, with a focus on expectations formation and optimal policy. His current research studies the role of expectations on the pricing of sovereign debt; the efficiency of corporate tax cuts to solve pessimism traps; and optimal labor income taxation in economies with a large shadow economy.

 

He did his PhD at the European University Institute (2011-2016) and was previously an  economist in the Macroeconomic Models Department of the Central Bank of Colombia (2007-2011).
